Last week, SFA had already secured a share of the title with a 26-15 victory over Lamar, making today’s win particularly significant.
The Lumberjacks took control early, highlighted by a spectacular 79-yard punt return from Bugs Mortimer. By the end of the first quarter, they led 20-0 thanks to touchdown receptions from Derrick Bohler and Kylon Harris. Harris recorded an impressive 135 yards on just four receptions, while Bohler added 49 yards and two touchdowns on three catches.
