URGENT UPDATE: In a stunning display of dominance, Stephen F. Austin University crushed Northwestern State with a score of 62-14 in Natchitoches, Louisiana, securing the Southland Conference title. The game, held today, showcased the exceptional talents of Jaylen Jenkins, who rushed for 113 yards and scored three touchdowns, and Sam Vidlak, who completed nine of his ten passes for 207 yards and three touchdowns.

With this emphatic victory, the Lumberjacks improved their record to 10-2 and completed an undefeated conference season at 8-0. The Lumberjacks took control early, highlighted by a spectacular 79-yard punt return from Bugs Mortimer. By the end of the first quarter, they led 20-0 thanks to touchdown receptions from Derrick Bohler and Kylon Harris. Harris recorded an impressive 135 yards on just four receptions, while Bohler added 49 yards and two touchdowns on three catches.
