Galaxy Entertainment Group Appoints Thomas Arasi as CFO
BREAKING: Galaxy Entertainment Group has just announced the appointment of Thomas Arasi as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective October 27, 2025. This strategic move underscores the company’s commitment to enhancing its executive leadership, particularly as it prepares for future growth.
Arasi, who brings an impressive 35 years of experience across various sectors, replaces Ted Chan, who will depart the company on November 22, 2025. Previously, Arasi served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Blombery Resorts Corp, demonstrating a robust background in the hospitality and integrated resorts industry.
In a statement, Francis Lui, Chairman of Galaxy Entertainment Group, expressed confidence in Arasi’s capabilities: “Mr. Arasi brings extensive expertise to the Group, having over 16 years within Integrated Resorts and a proven track record in North America, Japan, Singapore, and the Philippines.”
Lui highlighted that Arasi will work closely with Chan during the transition to ensure continuity and a seamless handover. “Under Tom’s leadership, we will continue to have an exceptionally strong finance function to support the Group’s business performance and strategic growth,” he added.
Chan, who has been with Galaxy Entertainment Group since 2018, acknowledged the rewarding experience he has gained over the past seven years. “The journey has been both professionally rewarding and personally enriching. I would like to express my deep gratitude for everyone who has been part of it,” Chan stated.
This appointment is seen as a pivotal moment for Galaxy Entertainment, as the company aims to solidify its position in the competitive landscape of integrated resorts. With Arasi at the helm, stakeholders are eager to see how his leadership will drive the company forward.
The financial services and hospitality sectors are closely watching this development, as the new CFO is expected to navigate challenges and seize opportunities in a rapidly evolving market.
As Galaxy Entertainment Group embarks on this new chapter, industry insiders and investors alike are keen to see the implications of Arasi’s extensive expertise in shaping the future of the company. Stay tuned for more updates on this significant leadership change as it unfolds.
