Milestones Private Investment Advisors LLC has acquired a new stake in the iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (NYSEARCA: IVV), according to a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The firm purchased 1,498 shares, valued at approximately $930,000, during the second quarter of 2023. This investment reflects a growing interest among institutional investors in the exchange-traded fund (ETF), which tracks the performance of the S&P 500 Index.
Several other notable investors have also made adjustments to their holdings in iShares Core S&P 500 ETF recently. Flaharty Asset Management LLC entered a new position in the ETF during the first quarter, investing $28,000. In the second quarter, Nvwm LLC significantly increased its stake by 210.5%, acquiring a total of 59 shares valued at $37,000 after purchasing an additional 40 shares. Hager Investment Management Services LLC and Rice Partnership LLC also made notable investments, with Hager acquiring shares worth approximately $61,000 and Rice increasing its holdings by 460.0% to own 112 shares valued at $70,000.
In total, hedge funds and institutional investors now own 70.12% of iShares Core S&P 500 ETF’s stock. This trend underscores the ETF’s reputation as a preferred investment vehicle for those seeking exposure to the large-capitalization sector of the United States equity market.

On Monday, shares of iShares Core S&P 500 ETF opened at $685.17, reflecting a decline of 1.1%. Over the past year, the ETF has experienced a low of $484.00 and a high of $693.07. The stock’s fifty-day simple moving average stands at $677.95, while the two-hundred-day simple moving average is $649.83.
With a market capitalization of $719.09 billion, the ETF boasts a price-to-earnings (PE) ratio of 25.10 and a beta of 1.00, indicating its performance relative to the broader market is closely aligned with that of the S&P 500.
