Stranger Things Season 5: Noah Schnapp Teases Shocking Finale
UPDATE: Excitement for Stranger Things Season 5 is reaching fever pitch as Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers, reveals a shocking twist: neither the cast nor the crew will see the series finale before its release. The final season, which consists of eight episodes, will premiere its first part on November 26, 2025, with the highly anticipated finale airing on New Year’s Eve.
During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Schnapp emphasized the gripping nature of the upcoming season, stating, “The stakes just keep getting higher and higher, and the show — you are not ready.” He added that after watching episodes five and six, he was left in tears, highlighting the emotional depth of the finale, which he will experience simultaneously with fans.
In a bid to maintain suspense, Netflix has confirmed that there will be no pre-screening of the finale, ensuring that the cast is just as eager as viewers to see how the story unfolds. Schnapp stated, “I won’t see it until the world sees it, and I’m just as excited as you guys are.”
The first four episodes will be available for streaming on Netflix starting November 26, followed by three additional episodes on December 25. The series finale, Episode 8, will be released in select theaters across the U.S. and Canada on December 31, 2025, coinciding with its Netflix debut.
Co-stars Joe Keery and Maya Hawke also weighed in on the final season. Keery, known for his role as Steve Harrington, described the last few episodes as a “big swing,” indicating a thrilling and unpredictable conclusion. Hawke, portraying Robin, shared her perspective, stating, “This season, the volume gets turned up all the way right from the beginning. The stakes are gonna feel high from the very beginning to the very end.”
As the story unfolds, Eleven must navigate her precarious situation, hiding from the U.S. government, which seeks to exploit her as a weapon. Meanwhile, she and her friends are preparing for a climactic confrontation with the formidable Vecna.
Fans are buzzing with anticipation, and as the premiere date approaches, it’s clear that Stranger Things Season 5 promises to deliver more thrills and emotional moments than ever before. Mark your calendars for November 26, and get ready for a ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Stay tuned for further updates as we count down to the thrilling conclusion of this beloved series!
