BREAKING: A deadly two-vehicle crash on SH 315 in Rusk County has left one person dead and another hospitalized. The incident occurred just north of Mt. Enterprise on January 11, 2023, around 5 p.m..

According to reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision resulted when a passenger vehicle veered into oncoming traffic, colliding with an 18-wheeler towing a trailer. Tragically, the driver of the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was rushed to UT Health in Tyler for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
