The Patriots’ defense, led by coach Scott Durost, once again proved impenetrable, shutting out all four postseason opponents. Senior Lyndsie Durost praised the team’s unity and hard work, stating, “Everyone was willing to work and be hard and push each other every day, and that makes a winning team.”

She capped off her hat trick in the final minute of the game, highlighting her exceptional performance throughout the postseason, where she scored a total of seven goals across the regional and state finals.
“I always say the defense is the most underrated part of the team,” Allen remarked, acknowledging the critical role of her teammates in both defense and offense.
In their previous meetings this season, Bangor Christian faced Wisdom twice, winning the first matchup 5-0 and narrowly escaping with a 4-3 victory in their second encounter on October 10, 2023.
