Jennie Launches Vibrant Beats Solo 4 Headphones on September 5
Jennie, a member of the popular K-pop group Blackpink, has announced a new collaboration with premium headphone brand Beats for the release of the Beats Solo 4 – Jennie Special Edition. This latest partnership follows her successful involvement in the Beats Solo Buds campaign in 2024. The new headphones will be available for purchase starting on September 5, 2024, at 9 a.m. local time in China, the United Kingdom, and the United States, as well as at 10 a.m. in Japan and South Korea.
The Beats Solo 4 headphones showcase a striking matte red design, adorned with the initials “R” and “J,” and feature an embellished UltraPlush ear cushion designed with symbols inspired by Jennie. The all-red aesthetic pays tribute to her debut album, Ruby, highlighting her creative influence on the product.
In a statement, Jennie expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration, saying, “Beats has been part of my everyday life and creative process, so collaborating with them in this way feels very special. I’m excited for people to experience my music in a new way through these headphones.”
Online, the headphones will retail for $199 and can be purchased at Apple.com and other retailers, including Best Buy in the United States and Coupang in South Korea. In-person availability will be limited to select Apple Store locations, including The Grove in Los Angeles, Fifth Avenue in New York, Jing’an in Shanghai, Omotesando in Tokyo, and Myeongdong in Seoul.
These select locations will also host in-store experiences, allowing fans to test the headphones and listen to a curated playlist by Jennie featuring tracks from artists such as Dijon, Kaytranada, and Kehlani. This playlist will be available on Apple Music and is designed to enhance the listening experience of her music through the new headphones.
