Henry Winkler Dazzles with Dance Moves on The Jennifer Hudson Show
Henry Winkler brought his signature charm to “The Jennifer Hudson Show” on January 12, 2024, captivating audiences with his spirited dance moves. The 80-year-old actor participated in the show’s renowned spirit tunnel, where guests showcase their dance skills before heading to the main stage. Winkler lit up the hallway, kicking and twirling to a customized rendition of Billy Joel’s classic “Uptown Girl,” performed by the show’s staff who enthusiastically clapped and sang along.
As Winkler reached the end of the tunnel, he turned to wave and blew a kiss to the cheering employees. The show shared a clip of this lively moment on its Instagram account, captioning it with excitement: “We’re so happy @hwinkler4real is back!” Fans quickly took to social media to express their admiration for Winkler’s dance abilities. Many referenced his iconic role as The Fonz from “Happy Days,” with one viewer commenting, “The Fonz still got it! Heeeyyyyyyy.” Another added, “I love him. He’s a stepper,” highlighting the ongoing affection for Winkler’s beloved character.
Celebrating Achievements and Family Pride
During his conversation with host Jennifer Hudson, Winkler shared insights about his recent induction into the TV Hall of Fame. He expressed gratitude for being part of such a distinguished group of honorees, calling it “just amazing.” A particularly touching moment occurred when Winkler reflected on a speech given by Ryan Murphy, who acknowledged Winkler’s son, Max Winkler, a director and screenwriter. “I thought, ‘I no longer need the award. That was it,’” the proud father remarked, showcasing his deep appreciation for his son’s accomplishments.
Winkler’s appearance is among many memorable moments from “The Jennifer Hudson Show.” The spirit tunnel has seen numerous celebrity guests leave a lasting impression, including Aaron Pierre, whose “That’s Mufasa” dance went viral last year. In another memorable instance, comedian Bert Kreischer entertained the crew with a shirtless performance reminiscent of “Magic Mike,” accompanied by a rendition of Nelly’s “Hot in Herre.”
Winkler’s return to the spotlight, coupled with his energetic dance performance, serves as a reminder of his enduring appeal and the joy he brings to audiences. His lighthearted spirit and dedication to his craft continue to resonate, ensuring that fans remain enamored with this Hollywood legend.
