Join the Global Movement: Support IEEE on Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday, scheduled for December 2, 2023, encourages global generosity and empowers individuals and organizations to make a difference in their communities. This year, the IEEE and the IEEE Foundation invite members to contribute to the organization’s charitable initiatives aimed at transforming lives through engineering and technology.
The IEEE Foundation is matching donations dollar for dollar, starting with an initial contribution of US $85,000, effectively doubling the total impact to US $170,000. This initiative enables donors to direct their contributions to specific programs that resonate with them, whether it be inspiring the next generation of engineers, providing sustainable energy solutions, or supporting emergency response efforts.
Opportunities for Impact
While financial contributions are crucial, there are additional ways to make an impact this Giving Tuesday. Donors can engage with IEEE’s programs by promoting initiatives they value most or volunteering their time and skills. The IEEE Foundation emphasizes that every action counts and invites members to become advocates for the causes they are passionate about.
For further information, updates, and ways to participate, please visit the IEEE Foundation’s Giving Tuesday web page and follow their activities on social media platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn.
The spirit of Giving Tuesday lies in its ability to unite individuals and organizations across the globe in a common goal: to enhance lives through technology and innovation. This year, join IEEE in amplifying technological advancements that can significantly change lives for the better.
