Neve Campbell Returns in New Trailer for “Scream 7” Release
Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group have revealed the trailer for the highly anticipated film, Scream 7, marking the latest chapter in the iconic horror franchise. This installment features the return of Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, a character who has become synonymous with the series since its inception.
Set to hit theaters on February 27, 2026, the film introduces a new Ghostface killer in the seemingly quiet town where Sidney has attempted to build a peaceful life. However, her hopes are shattered as her daughter, portrayed by Isabel May, becomes the latest target of the notorious masked murderer. In a bid to safeguard her family, Sidney is forced to confront the demons of her past and stop the cycle of violence once and for all.
The screenplay for Scream 7 comes from Kevin Williamson, who wrote the original 1996 film, and he also takes on directing duties. He co-wrote the script with Guy Busick, while the story is credited to James Vanderbilt and Busick, the duo behind the successful Scream VI, which grossed $166.6 million at the global box office and featured actors Jenna Ortega and Melissa Barrera.
