URGENT UPDATE: Upper Iowa women’s soccer team suffered a decisive 2-0 loss to Drury (Mo.) on Sunday, October 15, 2023, marking a challenging weekend for the Peacocks. This defeat drops their record to 3-7-2 overall and 1-6-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC).

The Panthers dominated the match, outshooting Upper Iowa 19-2. Freshman goalkeeper Avery Harding made her second career start and recorded an impressive 10 saves, successfully shutting out Drury in the first half. However, the Panthers broke through in the 67th minute when Holland Hawkins scored, assisted by Kadence Kermpges. Grace Pohl sealed the victory with a goal in the 85th minute.

Upper Iowa struggled to find offensive momentum, with Jessica Ancheta providing the only shot on goal.
