Boston Children’s Health Physicians (BCHP) has agreed to pay millions as part of a settlement following a significant data breach that impacted patients in September 2024. The incident, which involved a leak of personal information, led to a class-action lawsuit from affected individuals who claim that the medical group failed to implement adequate cybersecurity measures. The deadline for filing claims was November 25, 2025, and a final hearing to review the settlement terms is scheduled for December 10, 2025. Payments will be distributed shortly after this hearing, according to court-approved procedures.
