UPDATE: The White Oak Roughnecks delivered a stunning performance, hammering the Queen City Bulldogs 69-6 on Friday at Roughneck Stadium. This decisive victory pushes the Roughnecks to an impressive 4-0 this season, while Queen City falls to 0-4.

The Roughnecks showcased a quick-strike offense and a tenacious defense, scoring touchdowns on three of their first seven plays. White Oak’s dominance was evident early on, as they blitzed to an 8-0 lead just minutes into the game.

Leading the charge was Kenny Poul, who rushed for 63 yards and found the end zone three times. Quarterback Jaxsen Ludlow also shone, completing 5 of 11 passes for 103 yards and three touchdowns, while contributing 76 rushing yards and two scores of his own.

The Roughnecks wasted no time asserting their control. After forcing a punt on Queen City’s opening drive, Logan Ladwig blocked the attempt, setting up a quick touchdown connection between Ludlow and Tyson McKinney for a 42-yard score. The Roughnecks were off to a flying start, leading 21-0 by the end of the first quarter.

“Our team played with incredible energy,” said Coach [Name]. “We executed our game plan perfectly.”

Queen City managed a brief reprieve with a touchdown pass from quarterback Paydon Glass to Deketrick Smith, bringing the score to 28-6 in the second quarter. However, White Oak responded swiftly, with Ludlow scoring again and connecting with McClain for another touchdown just before halftime, extending the lead to a commanding 42-6.

As the second half unfolded, the Roughnecks continued their onslaught. Poul added two more touchdowns, and Levi Sipes contributed a short touchdown run, pushing the score to 62-6. The relentless defense scored as well, with Angel Mejia returning an intercepted pass from a failed Queen City fake punt attempt for a touchdown, sealing the game at 69-6.

Looking ahead, White Oak will host Atlanta next Friday, aiming to maintain their perfect season. Meanwhile, Queen City will seek redemption as they visit Hooks. Stay tuned for more updates on these developing matchups.
