Western Railway Museum’s Pumpkin Patch Opens This Weekend!

UPDATE: The highly anticipated Pumpkin Patch at the Western Railway Museum officially opens this Saturday, marking the start of a thrilling autumn experience that runs every weekend until October 26. Visitors can embark on a delightful 15-minute train ride through the picturesque Solano County countryside to reach the pumpkin patch, where fun and festivities await.
This year, the event is managed in partnership with the Rotary Clubs of Fairfield-Suisun, Cordelia, and Dixon, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere packed with activities. Families can enjoy a giant hay fort, exhilarating hayrides, adorable pony rides, and a charming petting zoo. Kids will be thrilled with a zip line and a jump house, plus options for face painting and the exciting pumpkin launching experience.
Food and live music will enhance the festive environment, making it a perfect outing for families and friends alike. Best of all, entry to the pumpkin patch is free! However, guests will need to purchase a train pass to access the festivities. Train rides depart every 30 minutes, providing easy access to the pumpkin patch. To secure your spot, visit wrm.org for train pass purchases.
Located at 5848 State Highway 12, the Western Railway Museum invites locals and visitors to embrace the spirit of fall while supporting community initiatives. Proceeds from the Pumpkin Patch will benefit the local Rotary Clubs and the Museum’s mission to preserve the rich heritage of electric railway transportation.
