Urgent: Rollover on I-95 Closes Lanes in North Hampton, NH
BREAKING: A rollover incident involving a travel trailer on Interstate 95 in North Hampton, New Hampshire, has just caused significant lane closures this afternoon. The accident occurred at 1:50 p.m. on September 18, 2023, and has left multiple lanes blocked for hours.
According to authorities, Karen Lach, 74, from Waukesha, Wisconsin, was driving her 2025 Nissan Frontier pickup truck when the attached 2025 Grand Design travel trailer began to sway uncontrollably. This loss of control resulted in the trailer overturning near mile marker 7.6 on I-95 southbound, ultimately coming to rest on its side and obstructing traffic.
Emergency responders, including State Troopers and local police and fire departments, rushed to the scene to manage the situation. The accident has led to the closure of three southbound lanes for approximately two hours, causing major delays for travelers. All lanes were finally reopened at 3:46 p.m..
Fortunately, there were no other vehicles involved in the crash, and initial reports indicate that no injuries were sustained. However, the travel trailer suffered extensive damage, while the pickup truck incurred only minor damage. The cause of the trailer’s swaying is currently under investigation.
