Urgent: Investigation Underway After Infant Dies in Hollister
UPDATE: A 9-month-old infant has tragically died in Hollister, prompting an urgent investigation by local authorities. The incident was reported early this morning, September 25, 2023, at approximately 7:48 AM, when police responded to an emergency call about an unresponsive child at a residence on Glenview Drive.
Upon arrival, Hollister Police officers, along with the Hollister Fire Department and American Medical Response, found the infant unconscious, without a pulse, and not breathing. Emergency responders immediately initiated life-saving measures while transporting the child to a nearby hospital. Sadly, the infant was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Initial findings indicate that the child had been sleeping on a couch before being discovered unresponsive by a family member.
