BREAKING: Scooter Braun has taken a bold stance against his former client Kanye West, condemning the rapper’s recent antisemitic remarks during a live interview. “I don’t know him anymore,” Braun declared on the latest episode of “Question Everything” with Danielle Robay on October 12, 2023.

The 44-year-old music executive expressed deep disappointment, stating, “The person that I knew wasn’t someone who says those things.” His emotional comments highlight a significant rift, as Braun explained, “Sometimes the hardest thing to do about someone you care about is mourn them while they are still here.”

Braun, who shares three children—Jagger (9), Levi (7), and Hart (5)—with ex-wife Yael Cohen, emphasized the importance of focusing on his family. “I have three beautiful kids that need a dad to focus on them and make sure they’re prepared and strong in this world,” he stated.

When pressed on whether West, aged 48, could be “reached,” Braun replied, “I don’t know him.” He continued, “I’d rather stand proudly with who I am and who my people are.” Braun’s remarks come in the wake of West’s controversial online behavior, which has led to significant fallout, including the loss of lucrative partnerships with brands like Balenciaga and Adidas.

Braun further clarified his position, stating, “I have no ill will toward the ‘Gold Digger’ rapper” and expressed his commitment to positivity. “I’d rather be focused on being damn proud of who I am and who my grandparents were,” he said, reaffirming his identity in the face of West’s incendiary rhetoric.

Despite West’s numerous apologies for his past comments, including a recent statement in May 2023 where he declared, “I am done with antisemitism,” he has remained silent on the matter since then. Braun’s remarks signal a growing divide in their relationship, which lasted from 2016 to 2018.

As developments unfold, it remains to be seen how West will respond to Braun’s public declaration and whether this will impact his ongoing attempts at public redemption. Braun concluded, “I love my life,” stating he has no regrets about the artists he has managed, while further distancing himself from West’s controversial views.
