Samsung Confirms One UI 8 Beta Expansion for More Galaxy Devices

UPDATE: Samsung has just confirmed the expansion of its One UI 8 beta program to additional Galaxy devices, marking a significant leap in its software rollout. The company announced that the beta will now be available for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6 in key markets including Korea, the U.S., the U.K., and India.
This announcement comes on the heels of Samsung’s earlier launch of the Android 15-based One UI 7 in April, which faced delays due to various bugs. However, the tech giant is now accelerating its software updates, with the official One UI 8 update set to roll out as early as September 2023.
The public beta for One UI 8 went live in May, with Samsung confirming that more devices will receive the beta update this September. Among these are popular models such as the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy A36 5G, Galaxy A55 5G, Galaxy A35 5G, and Galaxy A54.
According to Samsung, One UI 8 is designed to enhance user experience by introducing a more intuitive interface and smoother functionality compared to its predecessor. Although the complete list of eligible devices has yet to be officially released, it is expected that most recent flagship models will be included based on the company’s update policies.
As Samsung gears up for this major software rollout, users can anticipate a range of new features and improvements that were previously showcased in the beta version. With the tech community buzzing about these updates, Samsung’s move is set to impact millions of Galaxy users worldwide.
