URGENT UPDATE: Police in Kenora have seized an estimated $28,000 worth of narcotics following the arrest of a 31-year-old man on an outstanding bench warrant. The dramatic arrest took place on October 18, 2023, as officers from the Kenora OPP’s community street crime unit and the organized crime enforcement bureau executed a search.

During the operation, authorities uncovered 34.31 grams of suspected fentanyl and 7.37 grams of suspected methamphetamine, along with a cell phone and an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency. This significant seizure underscores the ongoing battle against drug trafficking in the region.
