UPDATE: Comedian Nate Bargatze has just announced groundbreaking plans to develop a family-friendly theme park in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. The ambitious project, called Nateland, will not only serve as a major attraction in Nashville but also pave the way for smaller parks in other states.

This exciting news came during the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions convention in Orlando, Florida, on November 18, 2023. Bargatze is partnering with Storyland Studios to explore the concept and feasibility of a large-scale park.

The proposed 100-acre theme park will feature retail, dining, and hotel accommodations, enhancing the family entertainment landscape in Nashville. Nateland Experiences is already collaborating with local and state officials to identify potential sites for this significant venture.

Felix Verdigets, CEO of Nateland Experiences, revealed that initial feasibility studies are expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2026, after which they will begin seeking investors. “We’ve been in early discussions with some wealthy families and some governors of a couple of other states to do a Nateland-themed something, almost like a mini park,” he stated.

The Nateland theme park is just the beginning. Bargatze’s vision includes the development of multiple smaller parks across the country, expanding the reach of his brand and providing family-friendly entertainment options nationwide.

Bargatze is not just focusing on the theme park; he is also making strides in television and film. With nine family-friendly scripts, three animated projects, and two game shows in the pipeline, the comedian is poised for a massive crossover into the entertainment industry. His highly anticipated game show, “Greatest Average American,” premieres in February, with the animated feature “The Breadwinner” hitting theaters in March.

As the current top-earning comedian according to Pollstar, Bargatze has set a record for one-year gross as a touring comedian. His success is expected to drive interest in the Nateland theme park, which will start with standalone rides and expand as his media projects gain traction.

Other projects by Storyland Studios, known for their work on attractions like the Redwood Territory at California’s Great America and the Legoland California water park, showcase their expertise in delivering engaging theme park experiences.

This announcement promises to transform the entertainment landscape in Nashville and beyond. With the growing trend of local entertainment options, the Nateland theme park is set to create jobs, boost tourism, and provide a new destination for families looking for fun.

Stay tuned for further updates as this story develops, and keep an eye out for the launch of Nateland’s exciting offerings!
