URGENT UPDATE: The highly anticipated LaGrange Spooky Harvest Festival is set to return to LaGrange Community Park on October 17 and 18 at 5 p.m. This free, family-friendly event promises to be bigger and better, inviting the community to celebrate Halloween with exciting activities, including trick-or-treating, a spooky maze, and much more.

Event organizer Bill Robson confirmed that this year’s festival will feature enhancements like the addition of trunk-or-treat alongside the beloved trick-or-treat trail. “We’re hoping to get more people setting up to give out candy,” Robson stated, emphasizing the importance of community participation.

Attendees can look forward to two days filled with fun, including a pumpkin decorating contest for kids, food trucks supporting local businesses, and interactive experiences hosted by the LaGrange Fire Department and the Keystone-LaGrange Branch Library. Library staff will engage guests with campfire story times and delicious s’mores-making sessions, creating lasting memories for families.

Robson highlighted new features this year, including a larger spooky maze with additional tents, a hay bale maze, and inflatables for younger attendees. “Even if things don’t go perfectly, it’s still a lot of fun,” he reassured. Last year’s event attracted many families casually enjoying the evening, showcasing the festival’s community spirit.

As the small town of LaGrange aims to rekindle its community-oriented atmosphere, Robson hopes this festival will inspire more events in the future. “We haven’t had very many community-oriented things lately,” he remarked, underscoring the festival’s significance in bringing residents together.

The LaGrange Spooky Harvest Festival is a prime example of community spirit in action, and Robson encourages everyone to join in the fun. For more information on volunteering or to get involved, contact Robson at 440-381-6778 or email [email protected].

Mark your calendars for this exciting festival and get ready for a night filled with laughter, creativity, and community bonding!
