The highly anticipated Create Your Own Yeti Storytime event is set for December 6, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Children will enjoy captivating stories about winter and the legendary yeti, followed by an exciting hands-on experience where they can craft their very own snowy yeti friends. This unique event, part of the museum’s regular Storytime series, promises to be an unforgettable outing filled with imagination and creativity.
The Storytime sessions are held every other Wednesday at the museum, located at 1200 Ballpark Way, Arlington, TX 76011. Admission and parking are absolutely free, making it an accessible event for all families.
Each Storytime begins with a theatrical reading of a children’s book, presented by a community member or a Children’s Librarian from the Arlington Public Library. Some sessions even feature delightful puppet shows that add an extra layer of fun. Following the story, children will participate in an engaging art activity that connects to the day’s theme, helping them develop listening skills and express their creativity.
IMPORTANT: Pre-registration is required for this event, and walk-ins will not be accepted. Families must register online to secure their spot. Upon registration, attendees will receive an email confirmation to present at the parking entrance. Don’t miss out—register now!
Storytime takes place in various spaces within the museum, including the Community Gallery, Traditional Gallery, or Boardroom.
