UPDATE: Homecoming season is officially here, with major celebrations erupting across US college campuses this October! Thousands of alumni are returning to their alma maters for a week of festivities, parades, and concerts, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with school spirit and nostalgia.

NEW REPORTS confirm that schools like the University of Oklahoma and Howard University are gearing up for their highly anticipated homecoming events. From October 12 to November 15, campuses will be buzzing with activities designed to bring alumni and current students together like never before.

At Oklahoma State University, the festivities are dubbed “America’s Greatest Homecoming,” attracting up to 80,000 alumni to events including the Sea of Orange Parade. This year, the theme “From: Stillwater, To: The World” kicks off on October 12.

In Brookings, South Dakota, South Dakota State University celebrates with its long-standing tradition of Hobo Day, set for October 6. The festivities will feature a parade, food truck rally, and the iconic “Bummobile,” a preserved Model T Ford. Alumni will also don costumes inspired by historical characters, adding a whimsical charm to the homecoming experience.

At Florida A&M University, homecoming kicks off on October 12 with the theme “Eternal World Tour.” The schedule includes a parade, concerts, and a pep rally that promises to unite the HBCU community, embodying the spirit of family and celebration.

Over at the University of Florida, homecoming runs from September 26 to October 7, culminating in a Gator Growl concert featuring Steve Aoki. Students and alumni will engage in a variety of events, including a multicultural talent show and a parade, fostering a sense of pride and camaraderie.

The University of Maryland will host its celebrations starting October 26, featuring the popular Terp Carnival alongside a comedy show by Marcello Hernandez, making this homecoming unforgettable for attendees.

At the University of Southern California, festivities will kick off on November 13, culminating in a football game against the University of Iowa. Events will include class reunions and a comedy show, ensuring a fun-filled week for all.

The University of Miami is ready for its homecoming party, featuring a boat-burning ceremony on November 3 that symbolizes the school’s spirit. Students will also engage in a vibrant block party, further enriching the homecoming experience.

Finally, the University of Central Florida will host its “Spirit Splash” on October 12, an energetic pep rally where students jump into the Reflecting Pond to kick off the festivities leading up to a football game against West Virginia University.
