UPDATE: The countdown to the highly anticipated 2025 Hollywood Christmas Parade is officially on! As the holiday season kicks off, Angelenos are gearing up for one of the most festive events of the year, taking place on November 30, 2025, from 6 PM to 8 PM. Pre-parade festivities begin at 5:30 PM, with grandstand seating opening at 4 PM.

This year marks the 93rd annual Hollywood Christmas Parade, a spectacular tradition that transforms the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame into a dazzling winter wonderland. Thousands will don their most festive attire and gather to celebrate, making it a must-see event for locals and tourists alike.

WATCH LIVE: While reserved grandstand seating in front of the TCL Chinese Theatre has already sold out at $120 a ticket, free curbside viewing spots are available along the parade route. For those unable to attend in person, the parade will air on CW and KTLA closer to Christmas.

The parade kicks off at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Orange Drive, traveling a 3.2-mile U-shaped route that includes a turn onto Vine Street and Sunset Boulevard before returning to Orange Drive. A detailed route map can be accessed online for those planning to attend.

This year’s lineup is star-studded, featuring hosts Erik Estrada, Laura McKenzie, and Elizabeth Stanton. The grand marshal will be acclaimed actor Luke Wilson, with Anthony Anderson receiving the prestigious Humanitarian Award. Other celebrities in attendance include Brian Austin Green, Vivica A. Fox, and soap opera stars from popular shows like Days of Our Lives.

The parade promises to be a vibrant spectacle, complete with character balloons, marching bands, dance groups, and live performances by the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles. The night will culminate with the magical arrival of Santa and his reindeer, bringing joy to attendees of all ages.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Significant street closures will be in effect during the parade. Starting Saturday, November 29, at 12:01 AM, Hollywood Blvd will close between Orange Dr and Highland Ave until Monday at 6 AM. On parade day, closures will extend to other critical streets, including Sunset Blvd and La Brea Ave. Drivers are advised to plan ahead and expect delays.

PARKING OPTIONS: Parking will be limited due to the event. The Ovation Hollywood underground parking complex is a convenient choice, but public transit via the Metro Red Line is strongly recommended. Stops at Hollywood/Vine and Hollywood/Highland are both along the parade route.

This beloved event not only signifies the start of the holiday season but also fosters a sense of community and togetherness among participants and spectators. As excitement builds, mark your calendars for this unforgettable celebration that exemplifies the spirit of Christmas in Hollywood.

Stay tuned for more updates as the parade date approaches!
