Hideo Kojima Unveils New OD Trailer During Livestream Event
BREAKING: A brand-new trailer for Hideo Kojima’s highly anticipated game, OD, has just dropped during a special livestream marking the 10th anniversary of Kojima Productions. The video showcases approximately 3 minutes of in-engine footage created using Unreal Engine 5, and it undeniably evokes the haunting atmosphere of the acclaimed P.T..
The trailer, presented by Xbox head Phil Spencer alongside Kojima, reveals a chilling scene featuring the possible protagonist, portrayed by Sophia Lillis, as she enters a dimly lit room filled with an unsettling candle display. As Lillis’ character begins to light the candles, eerie and disturbing occurrences unfold, amplifying the game’s horror elements.
Kojima emphasized the game’s unique approach, stating it will blur the lines between gaming and film, yet refrained from providing specific details. Phil Spencer added that OD is trailblazing “in gameplay, story, and player engagement,” though specifics remain elusive.
