UPDATE: Fright Fest at Six Flags Over Texas is officially back, launching a thrilling season on September 12, 2025. This year promises to be more terrifying than ever with brand-new scare zones, haunted mazes, and spine-chilling live entertainment, transforming the park into a Halloween haven.

This immersive experience includes exclusive attractions such as the haunted maze inspired by the films The Strangers: Chapters 1 & 2. Guests can expect to confront their deepest fears as they navigate through six haunted houses, including fan-favorites like SAW: Legacy of Terror and The Conjuring Universe, all opening at 6 p.m. each night.

The park introduces five interactive scare zones starting at 7 p.m., featuring new eerie attractions like Foresaken Fairgrounds and Plague, where twisted clowns and masked plague doctors create an atmosphere ripe for terror. The Last Harvest zone, presented by SNICKERS®, offers a haunting experience with scarecrows hunting for souls among cursed crops.

Fright Fest also caters to families with daytime activities, including a Trick-or-Treat Trail, a Skelebration Dance Party, and a costume contest for kids. This year, families can enjoy interactive Halloween fun together, ensuring everyone feels the spooky spirit.

In addition to the haunted attractions, guests will be treated to award-winning live entertainment featuring the electrifying circus show Toxicity. This breathtaking performance showcases acrobats defying gravity in a post-apocalyptic setting that will leave audiences in awe.

Starting on September 12 and running through November 2, Fright Fest invites thrill-seekers every weekend. Due to strong demand, guests are encouraged to secure their tickets and Haunted Attraction Passes early, which grant access to all mazes throughout the night.

For those planning a visit, note that adult costumes and full-face makeup are prohibited, while children under 10 can wear costumes until 6 p.m.. A chaperone policy for guests aged 17 and under is also in effect after 6 p.m..
