Star running back Marquan Carter was a standout, rushing for 102 yards and scoring two pivotal touchdowns.
The matchup saw DePaul, the defending Non-Public B champions, take control in the second quarter. With just 28 seconds left in the first half, Carter broke a 7-7 tie with a crucial 5-yard touchdown run, putting DePaul ahead for good.
