Community Christian School Eagles Surge to 4-1 Victory Over St. Cloud
UPDATE: The Community Christian School Eagles secured an impressive 4-1 victory against St. Cloud Christian in a critical match held on October 3, 2023. This win boosts the Eagles’ record to 7-9 in the Minnesota Christian Athletic Conference, showcasing their determination and skill on the field.
Senior Samuel Mulder was the standout player, netting two goals and providing an assist, leading his team to a decisive win. Juniors Micah Strickland and Jonny Benson also contributed with goals, demonstrating the Eagles’ offensive prowess. The game took place in challenging weather conditions, with cold rain soaking the field throughout the match. Head coach Noah Mulder praised his team’s effort, stating, “It was cold and rainy the whole game out there, (but) lots of hard work (was) put in.”
The Eagles initially took a 2-1 lead at halftime, with Micah Schneider scoring St. Cloud Christian’s lone goal. Despite their efforts, the Warriors were unable to mount a comeback, ultimately falling to a dominant Eagles squad.
