URGENT UPDATE: Comerica Park is set to unveil its highly anticipated Priority Club on July 24, offering an all-inclusive experience filled with gourmet food and premium drinks for fans attending Detroit Tigers games. This exclusive 13,000-square-foot space, located below lower-level seating, promises to transform the ballpark dining experience and redefine fan engagement.
The Priority Club features a private street entrance, allowing members to access the club through a dedicated staircase. Fans can indulge in a variety of high-end culinary delights, including Tomahawk steaks, lobster rolls, and Oysters Rockefeller, alongside classic ballpark fare like hot dogs and Cracker Jack. This luxurious setting aims to cater to the tastes of fans who wish to enjoy a premium experience while cheering on their team.
Ryan Gustafson, President and CEO of Ilitch Sports + Entertainment, announced at a preview event that over $160 million has been invested to enhance facilities across the Tigers’ venues. “We heard a lot from our fans that they wanted an area that was high end,” Gustafson stated. “They want to entertain clients and employees in proximity to their seats.”
Executive Chef Mark Szubeczak emphasized the fresh, live cooking experience within the club, indicating that staff has doubled to meet the demand. “Every station has something exciting,” Szubeczak said, highlighting the dedication to providing rotating menu items throughout the season.
The Priority Club is designed for 350 premium, climate-controlled ticketholders and aims to create a networking-friendly environment. Spencer Ambrosius, senior vice president of ticket sales and services, noted that the club allows fans to leave their wallets at home, as parking and food are included in the ticket price.
