SWEAT Fitness Series Returns to Mount Pleasant This September

The popular SWEAT Fitness Series, hosted by Athleta at Mount Pleasant Towne Centre, is set to return this September. The series offers free weekly outdoor workouts led by experienced instructors from across the Lowcountry. These sessions will take place every Wednesday at 18:00, specifically at The Oaks, located across from Barnes & Noble at 1716 Towne Centre Way.
Participants of all fitness levels are welcome to join this community-oriented initiative aimed at promoting health and wellness. The event encourages attendees to connect with one another while enjoying the fresh air and vibrant atmosphere of Mount Pleasant Towne Centre.
Schedule of Events
The SWEAT Fitness Series will kick off on September 3 with a Mat Class, led by Chandler Frisbie from The Drop In. This will be followed by a session on September 10 called “Move: Slow + Comfortable,” facilitated by Erica Lindquist of Lowcountry Yoga.
On September 17, participants can look forward to “ROOTED: Strength in Motion,” a class conducted by Billie Walls and Amanda Oberhaus from The Sweat Collective. The series will conclude on September 24 with a Power Vinyasa Yoga session, led by Kim Markin from Modern Minds.
Attendees are encouraged to bring essentials such as a yoga mat, water, and a positive mindset. The series has gained popularity over the years, offering a fun and accessible way for the community to stay active together.
