Motorola Launches Moto G17 and G17 Power with Vegan Leather Back
Motorola has officially launched its latest budget smartphones, the Moto G17 and Moto G17 Power, marking a new entry point for consumers seeking affordable technology. The announcement, made via a brief press release on the company’s website, introduces two devices that feature a distinctive vegan leather back, appealing to users interested in style as well as functionality.
Both models showcase a sleek design, with a flat display that includes a centered camera hole. The bezels are uniformly thin, giving the devices a modern appearance. While they share many similarities, the primary difference lies in the battery capacity; the Moto G17 is equipped with a 5,200 mAh battery, whereas the Moto G17 Power boasts a more robust 6,000 mAh unit.
Camera and Performance Features
In terms of photography, both smartphones feature a 50-megapixel main camera powered by Sony’s LYTIA 600 sensor, complemented by a 5-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. This setup is designed to cater to users who enjoy capturing high-quality images. The devices are driven by MediaTek’s Helio G81 processor, ensuring smooth performance for everyday tasks and multimedia consumption.
Motorola advertises the inclusion of TurboPower charging technology, allowing users to quickly recharge their devices. Additionally, both models offer a fullHD+ display protected by Gorilla Glass 3, enhancing durability.
Audio and Color Options
An interesting feature highlighted by Motorola is the advanced audio system, which promises 200% more powerful sound through Volume Boost and stereo sound enhanced by Dolby Atmos. This enhancement aims to provide a cinematic audio experience for streaming, editing, or general use.
The Moto G17 and Moto G17 Power are available in three Pantone-curated colors: Evening Blue, Alaskan Blue, Tarmac, and Bordeaux. This variety allows consumers to choose a style that best reflects their personal taste.
Despite the official announcement, limited details were provided, and there is currently no comprehensive spec sheet available for potential buyers. The devices have started arriving in select markets across the EMEA region, further expanding Motorola’s reach in the budget smartphone sector.
Overall, the launch of the Moto G17 and G17 Power showcases Motorola’s commitment to blending style, functionality, and affordability, appealing to a wide range of consumers looking for reliable smartphones.
