Cherry XTRFY Launches Premium Gaming Keyboard and Mousepad

Cherry, a prominent name in the gaming accessory industry, has announced the launch of its latest products aimed at serious gamers. The new Cherry XTRFY MX 8.3 TKL Wireless mechanical keyboard and the GP7 mousepad are now available at U.S. retail locations. This expansion under the Cherry XTRFY sub-brand showcases the company’s commitment to delivering high-performance gaming peripherals.
The MX 8.3 TKL Wireless keyboard is engineered for elite-level gamers. It features hot-swappable switches, offering flexibility for customization. Users can connect it via three different modes: wired, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth. The keyboard’s premium gasket construction is housed in a durable aluminum case, ensuring longevity and resilience during intense gaming sessions.
Gaming performance is enhanced by an impressive wireless polling rate. When connected through the 2.4GHz dongle, the polling rate is set at 4,000Hz, which doubles to 8,000Hz with a USB cable connection. This rapid response capability allows the keyboard to communicate with the host computer up to eight times every millisecond, providing users with a competitive edge.
The keyboard’s Bluetooth mode accommodates pairing with up to three devices, allowing seamless switching. The tenkeyless design of the MX 8.3 TKL offers gamers additional desk space, making it compatible with larger mousepads such as the newly launched GP7.
With Cherry’s latest MX2A switches, the keyboard promises smooth actuation and refined acoustics, achieved through a redesigned spring and factory-applied lubricant. Additional features include a rotary knob, integrated LCD for battery status, customizable RGB lighting, media controls, and profile settings. The keyboard is adaptable for both Windows and macOS systems and is priced at USD $299.
Complementing the keyboard, the GP7 mousepad enhances gaming precision with its advanced graphene surface. Graphene, known for being 200 times stronger than steel, provides a dense and smooth surface that resists wear. This mousepad is designed to elevate gamers’ performance, offering a unique cloth surface with an extra-soft rubber base for added comfort and precision.
The GP7 mousepad allows for high-speed gliding under light pressure while providing necessary resistance for more intense movements. This feature is crucial for gamers who rely on micro-movements for accuracy. Available in a large size measuring 460 x 400 x 4mm, the GP7 is priced at USD $29.99.
Cherry’s decades of experience in the keyboard industry, which dates back to the early days of computing in the 1980s, has culminated in these innovative products. The Cherry XTRFY MX 8.3 TKL Wireless keyboard and GP7 mousepad are now available, reflecting the brand’s ongoing dedication to supporting competitive gaming and eSports enthusiasts.
