San Diego Residents Receive Voter Pamphlets Ahead of Nov. 4 Election

Registered voters in San Diego County will soon receive informational pamphlets detailing the upcoming special election scheduled for November 4, 2023. These pamphlets, which will be mailed directly to residents, include a sample ballot, various voting methods, and crucial deadlines for participation.
This election will allow Californians to vote on Proposition 50, a proposal concerning the state’s redistricting map. Additionally, voters residing in Poway District Two will have the opportunity to decide on the recall of Tony Blain, a councilmember facing allegations of misuse of power, attempted bribery, and harassment.
For those who opted for electronic communication, the voter information will also be sent via email, accompanied by the pamphlet. Ballots are scheduled to be distributed during the week of October 6, 2023. Voters will be able to cast their ballots through several options, including mail, designated drop boxes, or in-person at official voting centers.
Residents can vote anytime from October 7 until Election Day. A comprehensive list of ballot drop box locations is available on the county’s official website, ensuring that voters have easy access to participate in this important civic duty.
