According to Lee, the relationships were not solely characterized by mistreatment. He noted that Park Na Rae provided her managers with performance bonuses and gave them additional financial support during the Chuseok holiday. “The managers themselves acknowledged this,” Lee stated, highlighting that Park even presented them with luxurious gifts, including Chanel bags and watches. “She treated them extremely well. Even just this alone would make her an exceptional person,” he added.

Despite the generous gestures, Lee pointed out that the underlying financial issues led to the deterioration of their professional relationship. The managers, in return for their gifts, made efforts to reciprocate, including purchasing Chanel shoes and arranging for snack and coffee trucks to support Park during her events. They even gifted her Dom Pérignon champagne, with reports indicating that wine glasses used at events were valued at around ₩200,000 KRW (approximately $135 USD) each, with several being broken during gatherings.

Lee emphasized that the primary concern stemmed from unpaid expenses. “When cash is used, settlements are supposed to be made on payday each month, but these amounts were not settled,” he explained. Furthermore, instances of delayed wage payments contributed to the friction. Lee clarified that these delays were not due to a lack of funds, stating, “Park Na Rae is wealthy. The delays were not due to a lack of funds.”
