San Diego is set to become the epicenter of pop culture as the renowned San Diego Comic-Con returns from July 24 to 27, 2025. While the majority of events will take place inside the San Diego Convention Center, fans without tickets will still have the opportunity to participate in a range of exciting activations throughout downtown. Following Disney’s earlier announcements regarding its own fan experiences, Paramount+ has revealed plans for an immersive experience known as The Lodge, showcasing a variety of themed activities based on popular series.

The Lodge will return to San Diego’s Gaslamp District, specifically at Happy Does Bar, located at 340 Fifth Avenue. This marks the third consecutive year that Paramount+ has hosted this activation during Comic-Con. From Wednesday through Sunday, attendees can engage in interactive experiences inspired by beloved shows such as “Dexter: Resurrection,” “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds,” “Mission: Impossible,” and “NCIS.”

Immersive Experiences Await Fans

One of the highlights of The Lodge is the reopening of the “Dexter: Resurrection” vault. Guests will have the chance to explore a collection of eerie relics and case files curated in true Dexter style, offering a glimpse into the minds of some of history’s most infamous criminals.

In anticipation of its upcoming season, “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” will feature a Starfleet holodeck, allowing fans to immerse themselves in an interactive sci-fi playground. Attendees can experience engaging vignettes inspired by new episodes, sip creative cocktails in the “Intergalactic Love Lounge,” and visit the “Starfleet Academy” for exclusive themed merchandise.

For fans of “NCIS,” the activation will transform into a Parisian café, complete with a safehouse setup. Guests can uncover hidden Easter eggs, including surveillance equipment and photos, encapsulating the espionage and romance that defines the series.

Another key attraction will allow fans to recreate a classic scene from the original “Mission: Impossible” film, where Ethan Hunt is lowered into a high-security vault. Participants can capture the moment with a photo opportunity featuring the iconic suspended pose.

Additional Activities and Free Access

Admission to The Lodge is free, but reservations are required. The activation will run on Wednesday from 18:00 to 22:00 and from 09:00 to 19:00 from Thursday to Sunday. Guests can secure their spots through an online booking system, while a standby line will be available daily if reservations reach capacity.

In addition to The Lodge, attendees can visit the CBS Sports Clubhouse or the UEFA Champions League-themed sports bar for further entertainment. The Paramount Mountain experience will also be available at the Paramount+ Fan Frontier Outpost, running from 11:00 to 14:00. This area will showcase popular shows including “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “Star Trek,” and “Survivor.”

Outside of Comic-Con, fans can engage with Paramount+ at the Lawn outside the Omni San Diego Hotel from Thursday to Sunday. This activation will feature games, DIY activities, and exclusive prizes, creating a welcoming space for fans to connect with their favorite franchises.

For those eager to get a head start on the excitement, several fan activations, including the Pac-Man Café and Malibu Barbie Café, have already launched in downtown San Diego.

The combination of interactive experiences and free access is set to make The Lodge a must-visit destination during San Diego Comic-Con 2025, appealing to both devoted fans and newcomers alike.
