NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst has officially opened its newly renovated Neurology Clinic, located in the Community Medical Center at 80-01 41st Avenue in Queens. This modernized facility, which underwent renovations costing approximately $160,000, aims to provide a supportive and welcoming environment for patients facing various serious neurological disorders.
The redesigned space features larger exam rooms and improved amenities, ensuring a comfortable experience for both patients and caregivers. This expansion not only enhances the clinic’s capacity but also increases access to several specialty services, benefiting the Elmhurst community and surrounding areas.

The renovated clinic consolidates all neurology services into one designated area, including General Neurology, Botox treatments, Stroke care, and plans for an Endovascular unit with Epilepsy services set to launch in the coming year. Dr. Joseph Farraye, Chief of Neurology, expressed enthusiasm about the clinic’s new capabilities, stating, “With the new and improved space, we can at last unite all the Neurology clinics in one designated area.”
