Director Kristen Lappas shared details during a press event on August 23, 2025, confirming that Swift was “very supportive” and approved the use of her image and likeness for the series. According to Lara Krug, Chief Marketing Officer of the Chiefs and COO of Foolish Club Studios, the focus of the series was always intended to be on the team and its community. “Now you see her in the way that I think is how she wanted to be seen, which is as a fan of the community,” Krug commented.
Swift and Kelce began dating in the summer of 2023. The singer attended her first Chiefs game on September 24, 2023, and was seen at a second game on October 1, 2023.
