Mariah Carey Unveils ‘Here for It All,’ Her First Album in Seven Years
Mariah Carey has made a highly anticipated return with her 16th studio album, Here for It All, released on September 26, 2025, through gamma. This marks the singer’s first album in seven years, following her previous work, Caution, which debuted in 2018.
The new album features 11 tracks and includes two lead singles: “Type Dangerous” and “Sugar Sweet.” The latter song showcases collaborations with artists Shenseea and Kehlani. “Type Dangerous” has already made waves, winning the award for Best R&B at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards. I was like, ‘The last song is going to be “Here for It All.” And I’m going to make it the title track,’” she explained. “It’s just something that feels good to me, and I didn’t want people to miss it.”
