A new fantasy romance film titled “House of Ghosts” has finalized its main cast, creating excitement among fans of Korean and Japanese cinema. On September 5, 2023, production company ZOA FILMS announced that actors Dex, Chu So Jung (also known as Exy from WJSN), Park Hae Lin, and Yun Sung Bin will play the lead roles in this joint global project.

The narrative of “House of Ghosts” will explore the warmth of human connection, weaving themes of life and death, loss and freedom, along with meetings and farewells. The film draws inspiration from a short story by the acclaimed Japanese author Yoshimoto Banana, known for her ability to tackle complex emotions with depth and sensitivity.

Dex will portray the male lead, Yoon Sung, a character who may appear aloof but is, in fact, thoughtful and warm-hearted. Meanwhile, Chu So Jung will take on the role of Se Jung, a job seeker who is honest about her emotions while maintaining a practical outlook on life. Park Hae Lin will play Joo Hyun, a lively character whose proactive personality brings vibrant energy to the film.

In a notable casting choice, Yun Sung Bin, a former Olympic gold medalist in skeleton racing, will make his acting debut in this project. He will portray Min Soo, Se Jung’s ex-boyfriend and pottery teacher, adding a unique dimension to his character.
