“My heart is absolutely broken,” McCreery wrote on Instagram. He reflected on the cherished memories he shared with both grandmothers, recounting experiences that shaped his life. “From being on the farm in Elizabeth City or visiting the Outer Banks with Grandma Janet to the incredible memories at the backyard pool in Pinehurst, all the way to visiting Puerto Rico with Grandma Paquita,” he noted.
McCreery emphasized the deep love both women instilled in him, stating, “They truly taught me what love is all about. I will miss them dearly.” He concluded his heartfelt note by asking fans to keep his family in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

“My heart is broken,” she wrote, adding that although it was difficult to accept, she believed it was her mother’s time to go. Tragically, Judy also noted that they lost Paquita, age 93, just hours later at 4 p.m. “She had been in declining health,” Judy explained, expressing gratitude for the thoughts and prayers being sent to their family.
