Seek and Find: Completing the Library Quest in Arc Raiders
The quest titled “Building a Library” in the video game Arc Raiders requires players to locate three specific books within a designated building in the Buried City. The character Apollo, an explosives vendor based in Speranza, has tasked players with gathering a detective, romance, and adventure book. Despite the genre distinctions, players will find all three books in a single room of the library.
Players should make their way to the Library, situated at the northern edge of Marano Park in the Buried City. This area, while central to the quest, can be perilous due to the presence of enemies like the Bombardier and Bastion, as well as aerial threats from a Rocketeer, often seen near Marano Station. Caution and stealth are advised to navigate this environment effectively.
Finding the Books
Upon entering the Library, players will receive the objective to locate three items collectively referred to as “Library Books.” Interestingly, the order in which they are gathered does not matter, as all three can be found in the same room.
First, head to the large room with windows that overlook Marano Park. Look for a window directly facing the metro station entrance, where a fallen bookcase is located. Here, players will discover a display stand containing the first book. Interacting with this stand will add the book to the inventory.
Next, players should ascend the stairs located on the west side of the room. At the top, another display stand awaits, also containing yellow books. Interact with this stand to collect the second book.
The final book can be found further along the balcony on the eastern side of the room. As players continue along this path, they should keep an eye out for the last display stand on their left. Interacting with it will secure the final book needed for the quest.
It is recommended that players avoid attempting to stash the books, as doing so requires a higher rarity augment. Instead, utilizing the nearby metro station for a quick exit after collecting the books is advisable. The Library itself typically sees minimal traffic unless players are using it as a base for confrontations with the nearby Bastion or Rocketeer.
Completing the “Building a Library” quest not only advances the storyline but also enhances the gaming experience within Arc Raiders, showcasing the strategic elements of exploration and resource management in a dynamic environment.
