MGM Resorts and F1 Renew Las Vegas Grand Prix Partnership to 2030

The Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix has officially extended its partnership with MGM Resorts, guaranteeing the collaboration will continue until 2030. This agreement ensures that MGM will maintain its prominent role during the annual F1 race weekend in Las Vegas, which takes place every year on the weekend before Thanksgiving.
The partnership includes the winner’s stage located at the prestigious Bellagio Fountain Club, a hospitality zone that offers spectators an unparalleled view of the circuit’s longest and fastest straightaway. Here, cars reach astonishing speeds of over 210 mph. The Bellagio’s hospitality space will feature a diverse culinary program, showcasing renowned chefs such as José Andrés, Mario Carbone, Masaharu Morimoto, and Antonia Lofaso. Guests will also enjoy an open bar offering signature cocktails and curated premium wines, as well as a rooftop lounge for a unique viewing experience.
Emily Prazer, president and CEO of Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc., praised MGM’s significant contributions to the event’s identity. “MGM Resorts has been instrumental in shaping the identity of the Las Vegas Grand Prix,” she stated. “Their commitment to creating unforgettable hospitality and entertainment offerings both on and off the track has set a standard of excellence, and their dedication to perfection perfectly blends with our desire to create the ultimate fan experience across the destination.”
In addition to the Bellagio Fountain Club, MGM Resorts plans to host various activations and retail offerings across its Las Vegas properties during race week. The inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix took place in 2023, and officials are optimistic that the event will become a permanent fixture on the city’s calendar through at least 2027.
Steve Zanella, president of operations at MGM Resorts, highlighted the collaborative efforts that have contributed to the event’s success. “The Las Vegas Grand Prix would not exist at the scale and quality it does without deep collaboration across the entire city,” he remarked. “As a Founding Partner, we’ve worked side by side with the Las Vegas Grand Prix, LVCVA, and other founding partners to make this one of the most sought-after races on the circuit. We look forward to continuing our role in making Las Vegas a global entertainment and sports destination.”
With this partnership renewal, both MGM Resorts and Formula One are poised to enhance the experience for fans, solidifying Las Vegas’s position as an international hub for motorsport and entertainment.
