Luana Ann Church Appointed VP for Quebecor Content’s Growth Strategy
Luana Ann Church has been appointed as the new Vice President of Development, Acquisitions, and Distribution for Quebecor, effective immediately. This announcement was made by Pierre Karl Péladeau, President and CEO of Quebecor, on November 20, 2025. Church will oversee content acquisition and distribution while also focusing on international development across Quebecor Content, Incendo, and TVA Films.
Church’s journey with Quebecor began in 2011, where she has played an instrumental role in the company’s growth. Previously serving as Senior Legal Director, she managed several strategic initiatives related to intellectual property and international content partnerships. Notably, she contributed to the acquisition of popular formats for TVA Group, including The Voice, and facilitated the export of original Québécois productions like Révolution.
Strategic Vision for Content Growth
In her new role, Church is expected to leverage her extensive experience to navigate the rapidly evolving media landscape. “The strength and quality of our content has always been a great source of pride and a key business priority for our company,” Péladeau stated. He expressed confidence in Church’s ability to face future challenges, emphasizing her legal expertise, creative vision, and business acumen as vital assets for Quebecor.
Church expressed her enthusiasm for the new position, stating, “It is with great pride that I accept this role. It is an opportunity to take on a new challenge in an industry that I have come to know through my career at Quebecor.” She aims to expand the reach and value of Quebecor’s content both locally and internationally, with the support of the established teams within the company.
Church succeeds Yann Paquet, who announced his departure earlier in the spring of 2025. As the media and entertainment industry faces significant transformations, Church’s appointment is a strategic move for Quebecor, positioning the company to enhance its competitive edge.
