The 19th Global Freight Forwarders Conference, hosted by JCtrans, concluded on July 15, 2025, in Dubai, attracting 1,237 logistics professionals and representatives from 752 enterprises across 74 countries. This three-day event served as a pivotal moment for the global freight forwarding industry, fostering new opportunities for international collaboration and networking.

Insights and Innovations for a Prosperous Future

During the opening ceremony, Leon Li, Chief Operating Officer of JCtrans, delivered a keynote address underscoring the rapid growth of the Middle Eastern logistics market, currently valued at $27.8 billion. He forecasted an increase to $39.2 billion within five years, with a compound annual growth rate of 7.1%. Li reiterated the organization’s commitment to helping global freight forwarding companies achieve sustainable profitability and aimed to establish JCtrans as “the most trustworthy international logistics trading platform.”

Li’s vision is supported by a commitment to integrity and collaboration, aiming to create a more interconnected logistics ecosystem worldwide.

The conference featured presentations from senior executives at JCtrans, including Crystal Zheng, Zuocai Wei, Yorick Zhu, and Alice Zhang. They provided insights on crucial topics such as business opportunity matching, risk management, payment solutions, and strategies for global branding. Zheng revealed that JCtrans now serves over 11,000 paid members in 179 countries, boasting an impressive annual renewal rate of 86%. The platform’s AI-driven inquiry system facilitates over 2.2 million business matches annually, enhancing visibility for members.

Addressing Payment Challenges and Enhancing Security

In his presentation, Wei unveiled an upgraded risk management system that has assisted members in avoiding more than 2,200 potential risks in the past year alone. The system successfully resolved 84% of disputes and recovered approximately $185 million in claims, utilizing tools like real-time Risk Alerts and Credit Assurance Orders to secure cross-border transactions.

To combat payment issues prevalent in the freight forwarding sector, JCtrans introduced JC Pay, a fee-free settlement solution that has processed over $400 million in annual settlements. Zhu noted that this innovation has significantly reduced transaction costs for members.

Furthermore, JCtrans plans to launch JC Verified, a certification service aimed at fostering trust and promoting quality collaborations across international borders. Zhang highlighted the organization’s expanding global presence, announcing that registration for the upcoming 2025 Shanghai Conference is now open, while plans for the 2026 Thailand Conference are already in motion.

The conference also included one-on-one meetings that facilitated direct communication among participants, leading to initial cooperation agreements that could enable future business expansion. The intelligent matching mechanism implemented by JCtrans enhanced the efficiency and success rate of these engagements.

Networking events, including a welcome cocktail reception and a gala dinner, provided attendees with valuable opportunities to strengthen partnerships and foster trust, contributing to deeper long-term collaboration among the global logistics community.

The success of the JCtrans Dubai Conference highlights the organization’s leadership within the logistics sector and its dedication to building a collaborative and borderless industry. As the organization prepares for future events in Shanghai and Thailand, JCtrans remains committed to working closely with its members to shape a more prosperous future for global trade.
