As summer temperatures soar, 7UP® is launching a campaign titled ‘7 Days of Super Duper Summer’ to provide consumers with refreshing experiences that combat the heat. The initiative, featuring a social media stunt, introduces captivating CGI content that brings an unexpected snowy twist to hot urban landscapes.

According to new research conducted by OnePoll on behalf of 7UP, cities such as Cairo, Karachi, Riyadh, and Dubai regularly experience average temperatures exceeding 38°C during peak summer weeks. This data highlights a universal challenge: the struggle to stay cool in extreme heat. The survey revealed that nearly 79% of respondents in Egypt feel that daily tasks take significantly longer to complete due to high temperatures.

In an effort to address this issue, 7UP is positioning itself as the “Super Duper Refresher.” The campaign runs from July 14 to July 20, 2025, and aims to engage social media users across the Middle East and South Asia. Throughout this week, influencers and celebrities will post videos showcasing snowy scenes that appear as a result of opening a can of 7UP, creating a fun visual metaphor for refreshment.

The campaign’s creator, Salman Butt, Senior Marketing Director at 7UP, emphasized the importance of providing a refreshing break during hot days. He stated, “The physical impact of extreme heat on our bodies cannot be underestimated, but sometimes a refreshing break is all we need to get back to normal.” His vision for the activation is to generate laughter and sharing while simultaneously enhancing feelings of refreshment.

The social media takeover will feature surreal videos of snow falling in everyday summer settings, such as busy streets in Karachi, rooftops in Dubai, and markets in Cairo. The unexpected snowy elements will serve as a reminder of the cooling effects of 7UP, a beverage that promises to deliver a revitalizing boost during the sweltering summer days.

In addition to the engaging digital content, 7UP is expanding its product offerings with the introduction of Mint Mojito in Egypt, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. This new flavor combines zesty lemon-lime fizz with refreshing mint. Meanwhile, in the UK, the introduction of 7UP Pink Lemonade offers a sweet twist on the classic lemon-lime taste, blending it with raspberry for a refreshing alternative.

On July 20, 2025, the campaign will culminate in a global montage reel that encapsulates the week’s snowy scenes and underscores the brand’s message: 7UP not only arrives this summer but does so with an unexpected flourish of snow.
