Orange County Football Leagues Announce New Structure for 2025-2026
The Orange County Football Conference has unveiled the new league structures for the upcoming 2025 and 2026 seasons, marking a significant change in the organization of high school football in the region. These football-only leagues have been arranged based on the power ratings from HSratings.com over the past two seasons.
The most notable adjustment is the expansion of the top-tier Alpha League, which will now feature six teams, increasing from the previous four. In contrast, the Tango League has been designated as the lowest tier, comprising nine teams that will compete for playoff spots.
Each of the ten six-team leagues will have three automatic playoff berths, while the Tango League has been allocated four. This restructuring aims to create a more competitive environment within the leagues, rewarding teams based on their performance.
