USLBM Coast to Coast Challenge Set for December 7, 2025
BREAKING: The highly anticipated USLBM Coast to Coast Challenge is officially returning to Dickies Arena on Sunday, December 7, 2025. This premier men’s college basketball doubleheader will feature powerhouse teams including LSU, Texas Tech, TCU, and North Texas, promising an electrifying day for sports fans.
The event will kick off with LSU vs. Texas Tech at a time still to be determined, followed by TCU vs. North Texas. “We’re excited about returning to Fort Worth and competing against LSU,” said Texas Tech coach Grant McCasland. “It’s always great to play in front of our DFW alumni and fanbase who make Dickies Arena feel like we’re at home.”
Fans can expect a thrilling matchup as Texas Tech comes off a successful season, finishing with a 28-9 record and reaching the NCAA Elite Eight. Under McCasland’s leadership, the Red Raiders have achieved a remarkable 51-20 record over the past two seasons. Star player JT Toppin returns after earning consensus All-America honors and being named the Big 12 Player and Newcomer of the Year.
Meanwhile, LSU head coach Matt McMahon enters his fourth season with a roster bolstered by significant talent. Key returnees include redshirt junior Jalen Reed and sophomore Robert Miller. Their recruiting class, ranked No. 16 by Sports247, features four four-star players, including point guard Dedan Thomas Jr..
TCU will look to capitalize on last season’s momentum, returning experienced players like David Punch, who started 15 games as a freshman. Coach Jamie Dixon enters his 10th season at TCU, having surpassed 500 career wins last year. The Horned Frogs welcome seven newcomers, including guards Brock Harding and Liutauras Lelevicius from high-major programs.
The North Texas Mean Green are under new leadership with head coach Daniyal Robinson, who previously led Cleveland State to three consecutive 20-win seasons. Robinson’s coaching success includes 65 wins in just three years, making him one of the most promising coaches in Division I. He has revamped the roster, bringing in all-conference players Je’Shawn Stevenson and Dylan Arnett.
