UPDATE: A lavish New Year’s Eve celebration is set to take place at The Last Word in Ann Arbor, MI, featuring a luxurious caviar menu and live jazz music. Tickets for this all-inclusive event on December 31, 2025, are available now for $257 per person.

The event runs from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. and is limited to just 70 tickets, ensuring an intimate atmosphere as attendees ring in 2026. Guests can expect a night filled with gourmet food, unlimited drinks, and a memorable countdown to midnight.

“Our goal this year is to throw the most memorable, overflowing New Year’s Eve celebration in Ann Arbor,” said Rahsaan Grissom, general manager at The Last Word. “We want guests to feel like they’re stepping into a world of timeless celebration and starting 2026 in abundance.”

The menu boasts an array of upscale delicacies, including chilled oysters with mignonette, lobster bruschetta, and deviled eggs topped with caviar. A rotating buffet will feature chef-crafted boards of meats, cheeses, and fresh fruit, while a late-night dessert spread will include a Dubai-style chocolate cheesecake.

To complement the feast, guests will enjoy sparkling wine throughout the evening, along with three drink tickets redeemable for cocktails from The Last Word’s extensive menu. The local jazz ensemble, The Pherotones, will perform a four-hour set starting at 9 p.m., creating a lively atmosphere as the countdown to midnight approaches.

The Last Word, located at 301 W. Huron St., has been a staple in Ann Arbor since its opening in 2012, renowned for its craft cocktails and intimate vibe. This New Year’s Eve event aims to elevate the celebration experience, making it a must-attend for locals and visitors alike.
