New Hampton Elementary Students Launch Winter Concert Season
Students at New Hampton Elementary School will officially begin the holiday concert season with their annual Winter Concert on December 8, 2023. The event is scheduled to start at 19:00 in the competition gymnasium of New Hampton High School. This concert will feature performances from kindergartners through to fourth graders, showcasing their vocal and instrumental talents.
Music teacher Erica Koster expressed her enthusiasm for the event, stating, “This is the best time of the year, isn’t it?” Koster emphasized the excitement among her students as they prepare to take the stage. “I love these kids and they’re so excited to perform,” she added. The concert promises to be a heartwarming experience, with the cuteness factor likely to be exceptionally high.
The Winter Concert at New Hampton Elementary School is just the beginning of a series of performances by local students. Following this event, New Hampton Middle School will hold its Winter Concert on December 8, 2023, also at 19:00 in the competition gym. This concert will feature the Keynotes, grades 5-6 choir, Fifth Grade Band, Sixth Grade Band, as well as the 7-8 Choir and the 7-8 Band.
On December 14, 2023, St. Joseph Community School will hold its annual Christmas program at Holy Family Parish, starting at 11:30. This event will include performances from students in Pre-K through eighth grade, contributing to the festive spirit of the season.
The concert season will culminate on December 15, 2023, when New Hampton High School presents its Winter Concert at 19:00 in the competition gymnasium. This finale will feature performances from the Chamber Choir, Concert Band, NuHi Chorale, and the Combined Choir, providing a vibrant end to the series of holiday celebrations in New Hampton.
