UPDATE: A semi-truck crash has caused significant disruptions on I-5 in Castle Rock, Washington, with two northbound lanes reopening just hours ago after being fully blocked since this morning. The incident occurred at approximately 6:50 a.m. near Powell Road, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).

The overturned truck obstructed all three northbound lanes, leading to major traffic delays for morning commuters. Emergency crews worked diligently to clear the scene, and by 10 a.m., they managed to shift the semi into the right lane, reopening two lanes to traffic. Fortunately, the driver sustained only minor injuries, as confirmed by the Washington State Patrol.

Authorities reported that the truck was carrying Naked brand juice, which required unloading to reduce weight for the tow. This incident highlights the ongoing challenges on major highways, emphasizing the need for safe transportation practices.

Motorists are advised to remain cautious as residual delays may impact traffic flow in the area. Stay tuned for further updates as crews continue to manage the situation.
